The Detectors Radio Network Ebola tied to HEK 293

    in News

Do you recall the Pepsi scandal which spoke of HEK293 a taste enhancer being added to Pepsi and other products where as HEk 293 was stated to contain Aborted Human Ebyols ......

Now its 2014 where there are rumours that HEK 293 was approved and now is within these products. And as we purchase them we are constructing a gene base which is acceptable to disease like ebola. Human Embryonic Kidney 293 cells, commonly known as HEK 293, are a specific cell line which, as the name denotes, were derived from the kidney cells of an aborted human embryo in 1972. This cell line is widely used in efforts such as cell biology research and biotechnology/pharmaceutical development.

Senomyx is a U.S.-based biotechnology company focused on "discovering and developing innovative flavor ingredients for the food, beverage, and ingredient supply industries," primarily additives that amplify certain flavors and smells in foods.

A controversy over Senomyx originated with the pro-life organization Children of God for Life, which maintains that Senomyx uses HEK 293 in its flavor ingredient withn major food companies (including Nestle, Campbell's Soup, Kraft Foods, and PepsiCo) partnered with Senomyx:
Activation of PKR (double-stranded-RNA-dependent protein kinase) by DNA plasmids decreases translation, and limits the amount of recombinant protein produced by transiently transfected HEK (human embryonic kidney)-293 cells. Co-expression with Ebola virus VP35 (virus protein 35), which blocked plasmid activation of PKR, substantially increased production of recombinant TPL-2 (tumour progression locus 2)-ABIN-2 [A20-binding inhibitor of NF-κB (nuclear factor κB) 2]-NF-κB1 p105 complex. VP35 also increased expression of other co-transfected proteins, suggesting that VP35 could be employed generally to boost recombinant protein production by HEK-293 cells

The free-radical theory of aging is wrong. Oxidative stress is produced by the body as an essential step for proper metabolic health and functioning.

Reductants AND Oxidants (RED-OX) supplied in equal quantities, are required for maximal intracellular production of the major antioxidants Superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, and glutathione.

These biological redox messengers are responsible for cellular signaling and communication within the body – they amplify and clarify the signals sent to the immune system when bad or damaged cells are detected.

In addition to Ozone, HBO and UVB therapies, there are now safe, powerful and affordable treatments such as EWOT, LiveO2 and stable Redox Signaling Molecules in water and gel suspensions, available for home use.

    in Music

No one really knows where Walkin' Cane Mark is from. Someone once said that Mark was born under a cactus deep in the Arizona desert. Others have been heard to state that an infant Walkin' Cane came crawling out from the Superstition Mountains one day after the worst monsoon storm in Phoenix history. A fifth generation musician he was born with the soul of a Gila monster and the voice of a grizzly bear. The Walkin Cane Mark Show is a mixture of raw Rhythm & Blues, Rock, Blues and a whole lotta Soul.
The great Willie Dixon dubbed Mark, "Walkin' Cane Mark" in 1988 when he was recovering from a crippling car accident. It was also Willie who first recognized Mark's passion for blues & soul music. Fronting his first band (a seven piece horn band) at the ripe old age of 21, Cane quickly began to gain the reputation of an intense showman. "I love music, I used to fall into a kind of trance because of it and what could happen...did!”
Snooky Pryor (known to be the first player to amplify his harp post WWII Chicago) taught him how to drive a band with his harmonica like a steam engine. Nappy Brown showed Mark how to signify, shout & channel emotion into every tune. Junior Wells made Mark FUNKY! "You don't pick the blues the blues picks you" the late great harmonica player (Junior) once told Mark, and pick him it certainly did. Mark has the reputation of being one of the youngest “Old School Style” harmonica players in the southwest.

“Walkin Cane Mark is a huge bear of a man, tonight Mark warmed up for Nappy Brown & warm up he certainly does !” - Blue Print Magazine (England)

Climate Education - it can happen in your classroom

    in Environment

The Alliance for Climate Education (ACE) is an innovative organization working to build public support for climate solutions by investing in the next generation. ACE believes young people have the most to lose when it comes to climate change, and the most to gain by solving it. Since their founding in 2008, ACE has educated over 1.8 million high school students nationwide and inspired over 400,000 youth to take climate action and amplify their voice to tell their climate story. 73% of the schools ACE works with are public and 60% of students in their programs are youth of color. In Atlanta, ACE has educated over 70,000 students and inspired hundreds to take action in schools and communities, from reducing energy, to planting organic gardens, to raising awareness about clean energy solutions.

If you are a parent or educator and you would like to learn more about hosting the ACE assembly in your local high school in Atlanta, go to http://www.acespace.org/teachers/book or contact Amber Nave at Amber.Nave@climateeducation.org
