    in Politics Conservative

This show will focus on the cold blooded killing of Walter L. Scott by former Charleston (SC) Patrolman Michael T. Slager, 33.

Scott, a 50-year old Coast Guard veteran and father of four, died Saturday after Slager shot him in the back.

Five of the eight bullets hit Scott. Four of those struck his back. One hit an ear.

The footage filmed by a bystander shows the end of the confrontation between Scott and Slager after Scott ran from a traffic stop. The video evidence contradictis an account Slager gave earlier this week through his former attorney.

    in Politics Conservative

Join our guest Cincinnati City Councilwoman and Municipal Representative of the Police-Community Task Force Amy Murray, host Robert Jetter, Jr., panelists Activist Cindy Todd, Constitutional scholar Kelly Mordecai, and Dan Gray former columnist of the Washington Times. Call in and you stay on the show. You can Join our Round Table Discussion. Share the Link to the Live Show and Podcast.

Bards Logic Welcomes Cincinnati City Councilwoman and Municipal Representative of the Police-Community Task Force Amy Murray. We will disuss her role and spreading these ideas across America.

After the events across America including Florida, Missouri, and Ohio, police-community relations are almost stretched to its limits. Ohio Governor John Kasich , possible GOP 2016 Presidential Candidate, calls for a Task Force to address the widening schism between communities of color and law enforcement. In January 2015, Gov. Kasich asked Amy to be a part of his Task Force.

Amy is joined on the Task Force by 17 others including: former Ohio Supreme Court justice Eva Stratton, Dr. Ronnie Dunn Cleveland State University associate professor, member of the NAACP Criminal Justice Committee, Rev. George Murry Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, and Chief Michael J. Navarre, member of the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police.

Amy Murray has an extensive history of political involvement and a passion for diving into the issues when it comes to making her city a better place to live and work. As past President of her Neighborhood Council, she worked closely with residents, business and the city to bring about positive change. As member of city council Amy has been committed to more robust job creation and making  a more “business-friendly” city.  Fiscal responsibility, holding our leaders accountable and keeping our neighborhoods safe are her key focus areas.

In The Streets with Beverley Smith: The United Police State of America (Ep 21)

    in Politics

What is up with the police all around the nation? The NYPD changes Wikipedia entries regarding Eric Garner and Sean Bell. The SFPD is texting about "hanging ni**ers from trees". The Ferguson PD may or may not have the right man. The Chicago PD won't come clean about the secret detention center Homan Square. The DOJ says Ferguson police and court system have practiced widespread racial bias and policed for revenue and not for the public good. Nationwide, the police are legally spying on our cell phone calls, emails, tweets, and text messages. And the US Senate advances a new cybersecurity bill, widely criticized as being over-reaching.

Police Brutality, The Blackman & Psychological Effects of Slavery in America #2

    in Lifestyle

    American History Month

This program will include a discussion on the effect slavery had on the psyche of America, from 1619 to 1865 and Jim Crow; separation until 1965 and the effect it is still having presently in the year 2015 on the children of slaves (Blacks) and the children of the slave masters and overseers (Whites) in this race conscious American society.

Racism has distroyed America's dream of Freedom, Justice and Equality for all of it's people, by using old plantation tactics in these modern times, creating a servant, master society. Like the overseer and the slave in the days of old.

Law enforcement was designed as a service to the people, to protect life and property of all American's, paid from the people's taxes, today law enforcement has become a servant of those in authority, the rich, the powerful. Their actions appear to be more military than their intended purpose. Althought we know that all Police and others in authority are not the bad guy, but in the people's eye the bad spoils it for the good, therefore the good have a responsibility to correct the bad, the same is true among the people. We can no longer allow police brutality within the police department. The bad image is bad for the department as well as the mistrust of the citizens.

What is the solution for the oppressed Black man in America? Protesting, A Black President, Education, Jobs, Housing, etc. or a new sense of independence and true faith in God ... I choose the latter.
