NATURAL ALKALINE WATER Introduction
Ever thought of taking natural alkaline water? Most people prefer pure water, if not then they take water in the form of soft drinks like soda. Mostly what we take as pure water has a PH level of 7 which makes it neutral whereas acidic water has a PH of between 0 to 6 and alkaline water a PH of between 8 to 14. It’s unfortunate however that most of the drinking water we have access to is acidic. Due to heavy pollution of today’s water sources, having natural alkaline water is not easy, and even if it exists very few are interested in having it.
In daily life our bodies require natural alkaline water because most foods we consume have huge chunks of acid in them. Excess acid in the body leads to a not so balanced body PH hence making us prone to many diseases. According to health practitioners therefore, alkaline water is necessary for a healthier individual.
I've heard about the alkaline diet, but never read much about it. So when I was reading my Shape Magazine I came across this article called "The pH diet".
A-list celebs like Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kirsten Dunst swear by this diet. They say the diet keeps them slim and their skin looking flawless. So I had to invite Dr. Robert O. Young, Ph.D, author of bestseller The pH Miracle to give us more information about this subject and his book The pH Miracle.
