How does that charge affect our being? Can we manipulate it for our own creative purposes?
Our job as, spirit workers, is to re-appropriate the charge of the language we use. We are consistently “charged” with the forces that surround and flow through the language that w use. Some of these charges remove power from us so, our job is to discharge those charges and to invigorate our spirits with verbs of power!

Today's segment is about finding the good in bad situations. Don't worry - you won't go into a sugar coma from the positivity. I'm a pragmatic person, and I believe that there must be a progression to find the good.
AFTER the grief, anger, shock, disappointment and suffering - what then? I believe that is the moment we must discipline ourselves to have the habit of finding the good - which is entirely different than rejoicing in the bad. Those folks who delight in bad things are - in my opinion - a bit neurotic.

This doesn’t necessarily mean they are not with their families but for whatever reason they are not filling the role of a father. This is especially true in the black community. But why are they MIA? BET’s Ed Gordon and other notable black men participated in a roundtable discussion on the subject. The transcript is in the June, 2010 issue of Ebony magazine.
