    TRACY STOPLER, M.S.,R.D. President, NUTRITION E.T.C., Inc. Plainview, NY 


    Tracy Stopler is a registered dietitian with a Master of Science in Nutrition from New York University, and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). She is the nutrition director at NUTRITION E.T.C. in Plainview, Long Island. Tracy is an adjunct professor at both Adelphi University teaching "Nutrition and Human Performance" and Lehman College teaching “Nutrition and Health.” Tracy has authored over 30 abstracts, papers and book chapters in the scientific literature on the topic of nutrition and exercise. She also created a series of meditation classes.

    Off To A Healthier Start This Time. Food & Exercise. UTwS #164

    This show will focus on getting off to a healthier start this year and staying the course. We have been told to believe that many of the things that we eat are healthy, when in fact, they may be the very things that are making us sick and claiming our lives earlier than they should be. Let's take the dairy industry for example. As much as we may like cheese and milk products, it's time for us to find out and to know the risks that are involved with us eating those things. We also need to know why we have been told that they are healthy for so long. We're gonna take a hard look at meat as well.


    We know that Urban Therapy with Sun focuses on mental and physical health and we will giving out tips on easier ways to improve your health by exercising. We have to get our bodies in better sahpe but we also have to understand that it doesn't have to be so hard. A litte sweat never killed anyone but we don't have to toil so heavily. We just have to do something more than we have been doing. It doesn't always have to be intensive and sacrificial. It can be quick, easy and fun.


    So many have made new year's resolutions to get in better shape this year. Why not find out the easiest road to it.
