A transplanted city girl, Carolyne moved to the country when her fiancee and now husband, decided he wanted to farm. The move took quite well and Carolyne learned to milk cows, herd cows, drive a tractor, can, freeze, garden, bake, cook and preserve. She and her husband raised four wonderful children and took in numerous foster children. Somewhere along the way Carolyne decided she wanted to recreate her own version of the romance novels she loved reading. In her writing she yearns to show redemption and change and the chance to start over. Coming home to faith and love is a thread that is woven through every story she writes. Christine Lindsay writes Christian historical novels with strong love stories such as her debut novel SHADOWED IN SILK which is set in India during a turbulent era. Christine's long-time fascination with the British Raj was seeded from stories of her Irish ancestors who served in the British Cavalry in Colonial India.
CAPTURED BY MOONLIGHT is Book 2 in this series Twilight of the British Raj.
SHADOWED IN SILK was the recipient of the 2009 ACFW Genesis for Christian Historical, the overall winner of the 2011 Grace Award in the category Adventure/Action/Epic, and was a finalist in the 2012 Readers' Favorite Award. Be sure to watch the book trailer for CAPTURED BY MOONLIGHT, and turn up the volume on your computer. The music is wonderful.
Adding to Christine's Irish pride is the fact that her great-grandfather and her grandfather both worked as riveters in the Belfast shipyard and one of the ships they built was the Titanic.
The Pacific coast of Canada is Christine's home, and like a lot of writers, her cat is her chief editor.
