For this episode of A Reel Point Of View, we'll be having a general discussion about the state of films regarding Abraham Lincoln and his assassination. Focusing on how films have treated the man Abraham Lincoln and how films have treated the assassination; and their quality (or the absence of such films). While in our examination, not failing to mention notable films like "The Conspirator", or "Young Abraham Lincoln" and Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" or even "Birth of a Nation"; we'll also attempt to talk about how film treatments of Lincoln have changed over the history of film, i.e. improvements, shortcomings, etc., and maybe what we'd like to see in any future films about Lincoln.

Former Georgia Tech RB Jimy Lincoln joins Joe Lisi on The Weekly Blitz.
Lincoln played in Atlanta from 1991-1994 and rushed for 1,601 yards averaging 4.2 yards per carry with 5 touchdowns. Lincoln had great vision and explosiveness in his game and helped lead the Yellow Jackets offensive attack during his redshirt freshman season to an 8-5 overall record.
Lincoln played the game with intensity and was not afraid to run between the tackles. He would hit the running lanes with great speed and was elusive in making tacklers miss.
Lincoln was utilized in the passing game as well and caught 35 passes in his career for 289 yards.
Abraham Bolden Sr., the first Black secret service man to ever be assigned to the president will be our guest tonight. He will tell his story of warning his secret service superiors that JFK might be assassinated prior to it happening, and how nothing was done to stop it. He later was framed and sent to prison to make certain what he knew never reached the public.
