Rhythmic Movement Training: An Holistic Approach to Neurodevelopment Via the Integration of Primitive Reflexes For Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, & Other Conditions

If we compare the behavior of a two-year old with that of a child given an ADHD diagnosis, the similarity is striking.

For more than two decades, Dr. Harald Blomberg, Swedish psychiatrist and founder of Rhythmic Movement Training, which mimics early movement patterns, has been using RMT successfully with those diagnosed with ADHD, as well as dyslexia and autism. Dr. Blomberg and other practitioners have also found RMT to be helpful in improving speech and motor, emotional, and cognitive functioning. In July, Dr. Blomberg will be coming to the United States to share this exciting and foundational approach.

Guest: Lady G talks about fitness and house music

    in Fitness

House music is what the world and group fitness needs.

Why? Because music is the key of movement. Popular fitness formats depend on the music to get people up and grooving; and for many instructors, music is our lifeline to a great class experience.

What is house music? Well there are many interpretations. Listen to the mix playing in the background. No, these mixes do not use 32-count phrasing or 8-count blocks as in professionally-mixed aerobic music. Yet, these mixes naturally flow this type of rhythmic musical phrasing making it ideal for instructor cueing.

Lady G is our special guest because she is one of the few that has experienced the fusion of house music and fitness in the form of Rhythm Walking. Rhythm Walking is fueled by house music.

Lady G is also a fixture of the Atlanta house music scene and is dedicated to spreading the love of house music far and wide. She also walks her talk, always out on the dance floor. Listen in while she talks about the power of house music.

    in Radio

We have two features tonight on this great show

IG @juicegodhmg FB Juice G Riggins Hmg

Born in the 80's, Juice G Riggins (known affectionately as OJ by family and friends) was an outspoken and musical child, playing the piano for years and also being in the church choir as a child. He used to walk around with his big sisters stereo with A A batteries and aluminum foil in the back to make it work. While dangerous he didn't care just needed his tunes. Sonically he makes beats with lots of bass and intricate and unique melodies to compliment his versatile delivery. Looking to take the DMV underground scene to the next level Juice refuses to allow himself to be just another rap nigga constantly dropping thought provoking rhymes and addressing society's biggest issue. Take a listen and become a fan today.

    Brandy Beereal Borders

Brandy (BeeReal) Borders was born in Los Angeles Ca. in 1975. He is a proud father of 3 and a professional Geek. His love for technology lead him to his career in Network Security and Administration. He began writing at the age of 17 when he started a Christian Rap group he called The Holy Profits. After obtaining a degree in Network Security he completed his first novella entitled 'The Conflict Within.' Always equipped with the ability to write essays quickly, the thought of starting a series of novellas was an exciting venture. In the midst of preparing the sequel to The Conflict Within (which will be entitled 'The Seryphium Blade') his love for rhyme returned; along with a surprising connection with his collaboration partner in life and Poetry MoniThePoet. Now as 1 half of Courtship's Love Song; he has been on a romantic high when it comes to writing. Not focused on notoriety; he desires to be able to share his experiences, triumphs and even defeats in a rhythmic way that will inspire and connect with the listener.
