    The Raw Reaction

    in Wrestling

We sit just six days before the 2016 Royal Rumble (the 29th one). Let's be honest, the last two Rumble matches have been a bit of a disappointment for various reasons (the lack of Bryan in '14, the final three booking of 2015), so they almost have to do it better this time by proxy. All the same, we also have quite a few other major matches to talk about for that card. Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens in Last Man Standing has show stealing potential. Both of the Alberto Del Rio and Kalisto matches last week were above average and both should be motivated to entertain. The diva's title match has actually been pretty well built this time as Charlotte defends about Becky.

So, you're definitely going to want to know what the guys are thinking about the 2016 edition. Be sure to join Harry Broadhurst (PBP voice of Real Action Pro Wrestling), Tony Acero (411mania's Raw Reporter) and Rick Beslin (Facebook's Fantasy Wrestling League) as they bring you the go home edition of the Raw Reaction tonight at 11:30 PM (EST) on DeMarco Wrestling Radio. In addition, be sure to call in with your picks at (914) 803-4532.

    The Raw Reaction

    in Wrestling

We sit two weeks (okay, 13 days) from the 2016 Royal Rumble. And news that broke after we were off the air last week about John Cena's injury has made this Rumble much more open than I think any of us would have thought. Add in the fact that the Rumble is for the WWE Heavyweight championship and it has strong potential to be the best Rumble in at least three years.

So, where exactly does that leave us for Raw? Well, I'm going to guess more McMahon's vs. Reigns, more awesomeness from Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens and more of Michael Cole proving how much of an amateur he looks like next to Mauro Ranallo (how awesome was he on Smackdown?)

So, join Harry Broadhurst (PBP voice of Real Action Pro Wrestling), Tony Acero (411mania's Raw Reporter) and Rick Beslin (Facebook's Fantasy Wrestling League) as they break down this January 11th episode of Monday Night Raw. Feel free to call in and give your thoughts on tonight's show as well by calling (914) 803-4532.

    The Raw Reaction

    in Wrestling

Last Raw of the year. Second official Raw on the road to the Royal Rumble (let's be honest, the Slammy's are a throw away). Mr. McMahon announced for the show tonight. Roman Reigns first major appearance as the WWE Heavyweight champion. Ladies and gentlemen, this has the makings of a very interesting show.

So does tonight's episode of the Raw Reaction. It's originals night here on the show. Due to commitments with the family, the '3rd Man' Rick Beslin will not be with us tonight. The MVP Jimmy C may be with us tonight. However the only two people we know for sure that will be there are the two dudes who have had your back since April 21st, 2014.

So make sure you join us at 11:30 PM (EST) as Harry Broadhurst (PBP voice of Real Action Pro Wrestling) and Tony Acero (411mania's Raw Reporter) bring you the final edition of the Raw Reaction for 2015. I (Harry) also have an idea for tonight's show that I'd like for you all to get in on...what is your one big wish for 2016 in the world of the WWE? Call us at (914) 803-4532 and let us know what one thing you most want to see.

    2015 Raw Reaction Awards

    in Wrestling

Harry here. Tony and I have tossed this idea back and forth for a while since we've been doing the show of possibly putting together year-end awards show. Needless to say, an endeavor of this magnitude took some time to put together, but we think we're ready to do so.

So, we will ask you all to join us on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2015 at the normal Reaction start time of 11:30 PM (EST) for the 2015 Raw Reaction Awards show. Join myself- Harry Broadhurst (PBP voice of RAPW), 411mania's Tony Acero, Rick Beslin (Facebook's Fantasy Wrestling League) and the M.V.P. Tony has mentioned there may be a couple guests as well. So who knows what Tony has planned. Hope to see you all there.

    The Raw Reaction

    in Wrestling

TLC is in the books. Actually, given the expectations going into the show, it was a pretty good show. So, now where do we go? Well, we turn our focus to the Royal Rumble. I speak for myself here (Harry) when I say that the Royal Rumble is my favorite PPV of the year. And usually, the Raw's that lead up to it are some of the better ones of the year. Will that be the case this year? There is something working in our favor tonight. The show eminates from Philadelphia, PA tonight and usually that's a pretty lively crowd. Here's hoping that trend continues.

What did we think of the show? Well, I guess you're going to have to tune in at 11:30 PM (EST) here on DeMarco Wrestling Radio to find out. Join Harry Broadhurst (PBP voice of RAPW), Tony Acero (411mania's Raw Reporter) and Rick Beslin (Facebook's Fantasy Wrestling League) as well as the "MVP" Jimmy Christopher, as we break down everything that went on. You can also call in to give your thoughts on TLC and Raw at 914-803-4532.

    The Raw Reaction

    in Wrestling

Hey everyone. Harry coming back at ya again. Looks like it's already time for the December pay-per-view as we sit just six days away from the Tables, Ladders and Chairs show. So, with declining ratings and the Road to WrestleMania about to begin, clearly something needs to happen. There's been talks of things getting set into place tonight, but no clear cut confirmation on what that means.

What does that mean for us? Well, I guess you'll find out by watching Raw. And then if you want to know what we thought of it, feel free to join myself, Harry Broadhurst (PBP voice of RAPW), 411mania's Tony Acero (Raw Reporter), Rick Beslin (Facebook's Fantasy Wrestling League) and the MVP Jimmy Christopher (we think) as we present the Raw Reaction tonight at 11:30 PM (EST) on DeMarco Wrestling Radio, brought to you by YES! Wrestling (search for us on Facebook).

Oh yeah, don't forget to call in and make your pay-per-view predictions with the guys tonight by calling 914-803-4532. Jimmy C puts the title on the line as the Predictions champ and you, the listeners, can try to challenge us too.

    Co-operative Multiplayer Live # 105- No Single-Player For You

    in Video Games

This week, Sean and Marc discuss if Gamestop is correct in thinking that physical video games will be around forever, although there is a significant decline in physical media sales.

We also discuss if we like binge watching shows, like the way Netflix puts things out, or if we are more traditonalists and want to watch things episodically.

There's also the controversial actions by Ubisoft and Activision involving singleplayer in their games, or really the lack thereof. Sony not making another Playstation Vita, more developers heading to Kickstarter and more.

Marc is reviewing NBA 2K16 and played some anime fighting game, while Sean continues down the road of playing past versions of Rock Band.

The guys end the show talking about Doctor Who Season 9, Episode 2 and "which new releases we might buy" segment.
