Feb 7th 2016 9pm(PST) Kathryn Samuelson -Intuitive, Author & Life Coach

    in Paranormal

Sunday evening at 9pm Pacific Midnight Eastern, Kathryn Samuelson drops by the old log cabin to chat with James and a barking wolf from time to time.

Kathryn began to feel the call to explore the spiritual and then the metaphysical quite some time ago. She practiced law in Illinois, but felt called to move to Massachusetts along with the call to explore this other side of life. Kathryn decided to follow this path of spiritual seeking and work, including working as an Intuitive and a certified Life Coach once she was settled in Massachusetts. Now living in Vermont Kathryn continues to pursue the work that she loves so much.

During her time in Massachusetts Kathryn was led to create (along with the Angels and Guides) the book called Opening the Heart: Meditations on How to Be.

As an Intuitive, Kathryn Samuelson gives Angel Readings using automatic writing (called Spiritual Writing by some), a practice she has engaged in since 1993. She connects with our collective Angels and Guides during a reading, and they use the writing as the method for giving her the information and guidance that they wish to provide you.

Kathryn was certified by the University of New Hampshire as a Life Coach in 2007, and has been offering her services as a Life Coach since then. Kathryn is open to helping all clients to whom she can be of service; however, she is deeply interested in helping those undergoing transitions, changes and transformation. Kathryn strongly believes that all the transitions, changes and transformations she has undergone provide her with a deep base of empathy and knowledge from with to help her clients.  http://www.kathrynsamuelson.com/

John Carver Show - Pray then What? This was VERY tough for me to share.

    in Self Help

I shared "Pray then What" with our church at Faith Outreach Chapel in Baltimore Maryland.  I wouldn't teach about prayer for YEARS because our daughter, Juliana, has been fighting cancer since 2007 and NONE of my prayers, and the prayers of thousands of people around the world have worked to cure her...so standing behind a pulpit and sharing that prayer works would mean I would have to be a hypocrite for which I am not.

Some of what I shared includes:

Wisdom from people much smarter than me:

“Pray like it all depends on God, but work like it all depends on you.”  Dave Ramsey

“The Christian should work as if all depended upon him, and pray as if it all depended upon God.”  Charles Haddon Spurgeon

“Work as if everything depended upon work and pray as if everything depended upon prayer.” William Booth

Toward the end of this sermon I shared a story.  I broke down in the middle of it because I felt like the little boy who is crying out for God to heal Juliana (unlock the door) and she still suffers with cancer.

Soul Ambassador MELVIN DAVIS visits This Side of the River - TONY COPELAND HOST

    in Music

Tune in for another Historic Segement with one of Detroit's music Legends MELVIN DAVIS!!

Excerpt taken from DETROIT METRO TIMES

    By Michael Hurtt

CLICK ABOVE HYPERLINK TO READ ENTIRE ARTICLE

It's easy to overlook, or not hear, Davis' vast musical contributions, because this giant was unjustly somewhat under the radar in the '60s and early '70s radio mainstream. But he was certainly there all along. He's the impossibly funky drummer behind guitarist Dennis Coffey and organist Lyman Woodard on the legendary, sample-worthy single "River Rouge"/"It's Your Thing"; the evocative lead vocalist on the 8th Day's AM soul staple "You've Got to Crawl (Before You Walk)"; the songwriter who penned J.J. Barnes' desperate ode "Chains of Love," which — in the hands of Detroit rock band the Dirtbombs — served as the musical centerpiece of the 2007 Julian Schnabel art-house film The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Songwriter royalties aside, Davis is still not a household name.

THE CHEA K. WOOLFOLK SHOW w/ Stylist Mel J. Williams & Inventor Fernando Wright

    in Radio

The Chea K. Woolfolk Show is a show about life, inspiration, business and personal growth. Woolfolk is a Louisville, KY native who began manufacturing unique health and beauty products that she felt were absent from the market, which eventually led to an offer and buyout from the multinational consumer goods company, Proctor & Gamble. She is the owner of Kymberli Shoe Designs LLC and a Marketing/Branding expert.

Listen as "GAME CHANGER" Chea K. Woolfolk and her "GAME CHANGING" guests talk about how they "CHANGED THE GAME."

    Tonight's guests:

Mel J. Williams, C.E.O. of Mending the Tresses, author ,and owner of Someting Special Styling Salon, located in Dallas County, off Hwy 183 in Irving by the old Texas Stadium.
Fernando Wright inventor of the Table Top Butler and  of TB Wright Group (also appeared in Who's Who African-American Profiles)

After a bad experience at a restaurant in 2007, Wright and his then-girlfriend were sat at a table that hadn’t been bussed. He thought to himself that there must be a way for restaurants to keep the tables cleaner between diners. A few nights later he woke up with the idea for the Table Butler, a multi-purpose organizing system that is currently available at Louisville-area Wal-Mart and online at www.tablebutler.com .

Most of Wright’s attention now is focused on the TB Wright Group, the company he founded to distribute the Table Butler.  Ultimately, he would like his company to be a place where other people could bring their ideas for him to manufacture.  “I try to work with as many black businesses as I can. I want to help young black kids get experience in manufacturing.  I’d like to see more of kids being creative.
