Scott hosts two special guests tonight, both with a pesonal and profound aspect to their work. First, he speaks with Author Bonnie McEneaney about her book Messages, which shares inspiring true stories of spiritual experiences of those who lost love ones in the terrorist attack of 9/11. Her late husband Eamon was also a victim. Then Scott is joined by NYT bestselling author Brad Meltzer, in his first non-fiction work. Titiled, Heros for My Son, Brad looks to see what are actual and real heros to share with his son during his life. When Bonnie McEneaney's husband, Eamon, died in the attacks on the World Trade Center, she thought she had lost him forever. And then something unexpected happened that would shake her to the core and reassure her that her husband was still with her. As Bonnie reveals in this groundbreaking book, she began to have experiences that convinced her that her husband, in spirit, was sending her signs, indeed messages, that he was still present and watching over his family. A mother and former business executive, Bonnie was always the rational one, and quite skeptical of the spiritual world and all that it represents, but after talking to a number of other families and friends of loved ones lost on 9/11, she realized she was not alone. Brad Meltzer, author of numerous best sellers including The Book of Fate, The Tenth Justice and others, has written his first non-fiction work, dedicated to his son. Brad says from the day his son was born Brad has been compiling and considering who would be the true heros he wanted to share with his son to lead him to a more kind and couragous life. Those examples are sharing with love and insight in Heros for My Son.
