Say' Tell Us (what we need to hear & know)

Today's show, Monday, January 30, 2012 comprised of David Braxton from South Florida called in and wanted to know if he should continue auditioning since he had been a contestant on one reality show but was denied as a contestant for other reality singing TV shows. Tyra from Ohio, Greg from NY and Jazmin also from NY were all in agreement with me that he should continue following his dream even though he has been rejected. David sang for us and he has a great voice! :-) It was pointed out how various artists such as Toni Braxton, Luther Vandross, Outkast, Morgan Freeman, Chaka Khan etc. were initially told they should not pursue their singing-acting careers. It was further discussed how various artists persevered their singing and acting careers after being rejected and are now successful performers! Also several other callers called in to listen only and not comment which is also appreciated that they call in to participate via listening only. David Braxton also said he hopes that he receives a gainful opportunity via giving us a sample of his singing ability today and that some one listens in via my "Say Tell Us" show and if anyone is interested in him professionally to sing if I would enable that connection to take place? And ofcourse, I will gladly forward them his contact information!
