David Fagin, founder and former vocalist and guitarist of the band "The Rosenbergs" has kept his hand in the music industry by continually creating new songs for various mediums including as solo artist, for television, for advertisements, for movies, working with some big companies like Sony Pictures, American Airlines, American Eagle Outfitters. Some songs are by The Rosenbergs, some by David Fagin and Pete Swann. You've heard his music on Dawson's Creek, it is currently on Accidentally on Purpose. In addition, his music can be heard on television shows on Fox, CBS, NBC, WB, Bravo, MTV, and ESPN. You can read his articles on Billboard Magazine and is a monthly columnist for Salon City Magazine. David has performed on the stage with notables like: No Doubt, Stone Temple Pilots, Duncan Sheik, The Strokes and Duran Duran. His sound is catchy, familiar, easy to listen to and indie. David also writes tag lines for advertisements and has worked with companies like Budweiser, Champion, Chex Snack Mix, NY Sports Club, Chevrolet, Rogaine and Motel 6! David has written and co-written 3 screenplays, Jihad Joe, The Gaza Strip's Most Lovable Suicide Bomber, Helix, and Rock in a Hard Place. Since 1999, David has been active in the politics of the music business and represented independent artists at the C.A.R.P. hearings on Capitol Hill along side Alanis Morissette. David has lectured on the business of music at Harvard Law School, Vanderbilt University, Emory Law, UCLA, and NYU and regularly speaks on music panels across the country.
