The Victrola label was reserved for Victor Red Seal releases and initially served to distinguish only the most expensive records. It first appeared on the "Grand Prize"-style Victor label in 1908. By 1913, the Victrola label was used for the entire Victor Red Seal line, but it was temporarily discontinued when Victor labels were re-designed in 1914.
