Crestview's Project Pyramid sets out to Provide New Hope for Troubled Teens
Retired First Sergeant Jeffery Crider of Project Pyramid is working to change the lives of teenagers through a "boot camp" styled program where out of control teens and young adults learn respect, self-worth, and self-control.
"It's all about changing bad behavior and gaining self-worth," affirms Crider, known as Mister C. by the cadets and community. The boot camp-style programs at Project Pyramid are designed to help turn teens' behavior around. Anger management is one of the core issues taught by Crider and his staff. By addressing this and showing teens how to express themselves positively, even in frustrating situations, Project Pyramid hopes to make inroads to the other issues the teens may be facing.
