Many Thanks to Armando Sanchez of Armando F. Sanchez productions for allowing me to use the show description from his Sunday 2-23-14 show with Antonio Robinson.
I am going to expand on the orginal 1/2 hour show and talk about how and what drove Antonio to go on that road and complete his journey.
This is a story of Antonio Robinson, a young man who was abandoned at the age of 2, by a drug addicted mom and a dad he never knew. Antonio was put into the Juvenile system at the age of 14, and graduated living out of his car. Dispute all the hardships and challenges in his life, he made it to the NFL.
He was raised in one of the worst projects in Miami, MODELO PROJECTS. Its his story of survival and how all he knew to do to vent his frustration was play football. It was his escape from the horror he was living in. He made it to the Chicago Bears, then to the Seattle Seahawks and finally to the Green Bay Packers.
Evelyn Torres Espino is doing various documentaries on various NFL and MBA players, Afro American and Latino.
It is time to show young men out there that Dreams do Come True if you want it bad enough. That the last thing you lose is hope.
We want to send these DVDs to all young mens homes, reformatories for juveniles, and various Christian programs for inner city youths all over the US and internationally to.
We are spread the word to the leaders of tomorrow, OUR YOUTH, that anything is possible, and that even the poor can make it.
