About Lisa: From a very young age, Lisa was able to write songs that would touch people ... deeply. After a significant life change in her late twenties, she began to take her original sound more seriously. “I got clean sober and started healing emotionally and that’s what I wrote about,” says the artist, “people would walk by me as I was playing and they’d just stop ... and listen. Folks were drawn in, first by my voice and then by some connection to whatever emotional place I was singing about. It wasn’t always easy, but playing my own stuff on the streets was humbling, every artist should do it”.
