Bio: Born November 1st, 1989, Ronald Garrett Jr Bey Aka "Sheik Ron" was born and raised on the west side of Chicago, IL. At the age of 16, Sheik Ron began writing music based on the challenge of a childhood friend to write a 16 bar verse written freestyle. At first, when Sheik Ron started his freestyle, if was difficult because of having writers block, but somehow he pulled through and got it done. When his first rhyme was quoted, it was at such a high speed and barely any breaths were taken. Many people who heard his talent were amazed. From that day forth, Sheik Ron has made writing lyrics his hobby and began participating in High School talent shows and events at Richard T. Crane High School located in Chicago, IL.
After many years passed, his lyrical hobby has became a mission to create music with good understanding and Sheik Ron has perfected his witty craft by becoming a menace of writing songs. In the year 2010, Sheik Ron has written a song most favorable to the "Moorish Community" titled "Proclaim my Nationality" produced by MagicXbeats. It was a song that sparked the minds of thousands of Moorish Americans(Moroccans born in America) and non-Moorish Americans in the continental America's.Sheik Ron is currently preparing on a mix-tape project being released on May 22nd, 2013 which will feature special collaborations from Canada/Canaan and other territories as well.
