The Florida Suncoast Chorus comes in 7th out of 13 in the Sunshine District!

I competed in the district contest with the Greater Pinellas Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (The Florida Suncoast Chorus).  It was GREAT fun, along with a mixed bag of feelings when I heard the decisions of the judges.  And these decisions did not involve my chorus.  I speak my thoughts on the Barbershop genre' and rehash the "Keep It Barbershop" discussion that started years ago when I was not active.  I am back these past few years and am amped up to generate expanded sound!  How about you?  Oh, you like overtone generation too?  CONTROLLED overtone generation?  Can you say "harmonic series"?  Well, here is my learned opinion on the homophonic consonance along the circle of fifths, tripthongs and the V7-I progression (mostly overtone discussion, get your Mini-Moog ready).
