Rick's investigation into the death of Darlene Cooper, takes him to Binghamton.
He stops at one of his old watering holes to try and dig up information on the girl and her boyfriend, up-and-coming pitcher Hector Rios. He then visits the Binghamton Bats training facility to meet Rios himself, but is met by the team's general manager who seems to know all about the case -- and all about Rick.
