Frank Aquila is the founder and president of the South San Joaquin Republicans (SSJR), an organization he created to help area conservatives network, get involved in the political process and meet their representatives.
Through the SSJR Aquila has met President George W. Bush, moderated congressional forums, organized an event for Gold Star Military Families, and served as a California delegate for his county — which positioned him to become the San Joaquin County California Chairman for Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign.
In 2011, Aquila decided to write his first book, Sarah Palin Out of Nowhere to describe his “great influence” on her selection as Senator John McCain’s vice presidential nominee, and to reveal the truth about the great patriot and leader she is for America.
