Eye of the Hurricane

Yes, it is hurricane season in the western Caribbean, but meterology is not the subject we play with tonight. As more and more chaos unfolds around us, and as we delve ever deeper into the uncertainty, it becomes ever more essential to bring our attention to the practices and processes that support peace within us. Accepting 'what is' is only the beginning. What we all crave for is certainty. The paradox is that the more we look for it in the world, the less we will find it there...especially when there are hurricanes happenin'...out there. So set aside enlightenment for the time being, and take a time out from 2012, and just focus on the little joys, the little nuances that bring you back to yourself, to sanity. Truly that is where the 'I' in the middle of the hurricane rests.
