We often hear about the practice of detachment or letting go. Of course, holding on is important too! However, it seems that letting go is more challenging for most of us...which may be why we need to practice it more. Perhaps this is because when we hold on to what we know, it gives us the feeling of being safe. Certainly we want to hold on to what we love and those things that are supporting and serving us. However, many times we hold on to things that are not supporting us....like stress, bad habits, toxic relationships and limiting beliefs. These things keep us feeling stuck and trapped, but they can be hard to release because there is comfort in the familiar.

Letting go requires creating a sense of safety, cultivating an empowering skill set and developing a willingness to venture into the new. While this sounds great...it asks us to step into the unknown, which can be scary! In order for us to grow and evolve into our highest, best self this is necessary. For most of us, this can be challenging, frightening and uncomfortable to do on our own. On this weeks episode of RESET and RENEW, we’ll create safety together, so we can bravely let go and move forward.
