Apostle Sharon R. Petersis a set gift in the church. She was affirmed into the office of the Apostle in 

February of 2012 at 1:05 p.m. by Apostles C. Kevin and Candace Ford of Abiding Presence International 

Alliance (APIA). In December of 2012 Apostle Sharon (as she is affectionately called by the church) received 

her Doctorate of Divinity Degree from the Calvary School of Ministry for Independent Biblical Studies an 

affiliate of Grace Theological Seminary of Loris, South Carolina and most recently earned her Doctorate of 

Theology Degree from Open Arms International Bible College and Seminary School of Chicago, Illinois. 

Apostle Sharon currently serves as a (Servant) Leader of The Empowerment Word & Truth Church (formerly 

Word & Truth Church) where she was installed as the Senior Pastor in 2008 by The Reverend Dr. Ramona 

Joseph of the African Pentecostal College of Bishops. She genuinely believes that NO ONE can die spiritually 

if they are connected to her for she loves to minister the bread of life and is a noted 21st Century Rebekah that 

can draw living water!

She is the Founder/President of Sweet Rose of Sharon Women’s Ministry, a place of feeding, a place to

prepare for excellence & a place of healing and restoration.
