BGM welcomes Matt Stevens from Raising Him Alone

Matt Stevens serves as the Executive Director for the Residential After-School Program, Inc. and is responsible for designing all program activities.He is passionate about teaching and counseling young men, and specializes in designing curriculum that addresses critical thinking, self management, interpersonal communications and decision making. His books are used in over thirty school districts throughout the United States and Canada.Matt has consulted with schools and community-based institutions across the country in the area of Parent Programming. He has been recognized as a leader in educational, business and government sectors for his work with single mothers raising male children and for reconnecting fathers with the lives of their children.His event management experience includes the establishment and coordination of the Young Men Employment Network Student Conference at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Matt also served as principal organizer and manager of the 2002 United States Youth Games which were conducted in Newark, New Jersey.
