After serving 27 years in the California Institution for Women, Dr. Tresia Henry shares a perspective of several aspects about the release process of women who serve long terms.

Some of the points Dr. Henry will talk to us about are:

  1. Views about the Board of Prison Terms, and the Power that they have been given to decide whether or not a person is rehabilitated enough to go back into society.

  2. How does one decide on another person's fate of redemption?

  3. Upon release, are we as prepared for going back into society? Please explain things that makes us prepared?

  4. How vital is it that we are equipping lifers and long termers with viable information to assist them with their transition back into society?
