Author of Mainstream Romance: Contemporary, Interracial/Multicultural/ Inspirational- My real name's James Jones. I was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama almost 41 years ago. I attended Stillman College and the University of Alabama. I graduated from Stillman in 1992. I've worked at a newspaper in the Gulf South since 1992 and won two awards. I was part of a Pulizter winner in 2005 for the coverage of Hurricane Katrina. I turned to book writing in 2007 and was contracted a year later with Picking Cotton at Red Rose Publishing.
