Ham Radio Technician Class License Exam Preparation Lesson #1

This episode of Redoubt Radio begins a 10 lesson course to prepare you to become a licensed amateur radion operator by taking and passing your FCC Technicians Class License. With a license granted by the FCC you will have the tools that you will need to provide emergency communications during times of disaster or when normal telephone and internet communications are not available. At the end of lesson #10 you will be directed to a place on the Internet where you may take practice exams until you feel comfortable about passing and are ready to take the written exam.  The exam consists of 35 multiple choice questions.  When you are ready to take and pass the exam Redoubt Radio will show you how to find testing centers in your area.
