The MLB season may only be a few weeks old, but Sunday provided some fantastic comebacks and amazing finishes. If you are a fan of pitching, Sunday was not the day for you to enjoy baseball. If you like home runs and extra base hits, there were more than enough to go around on Sunday afternoon. The Pittsburgh Pirates held an 8-4 advantage heading into the eigth inning. Tony Watson and Mark Melancon are suppose a dominate 1-2 punch at the end of the game. The duo gave up four runs and the game headed to extra innings. Both teams exhuasted their bench players and needed to use starting pitchers as pinch-hitters. The Pirates scored twice, in the top of the 12th, and it looked like they were headed to victory. However, the Diamondbacks tied the game with two runs of their own in the bottom of the inning. Tonights starter Zack Greinke singled in the inning, and was replaced by starting pithcer Shelby Miller, as a pinch runner. Miller stayed in the game to play left field. This might have proved costly as Sean Rodriguez drilled a ball over Miller for a double. The Pirates went on to score twice for a 12-10 win. Listen in and call the show with your thoughts on the NFL Draft or some of the crazy games yesterday.
