The Philadelphia Eagles didn't wait until Black Monday to release Chip Kelly. The Cleveland Browns wasted no time after their last game to let release Mike Pettine. The Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins finished the season with interim coaches, and both Dan Campbell and Mike Mularkey will be considered for the permanent job.

Tom Coughlin resigned as the New York Giants coach after stating that it was in the best interest of the organization. Coughlin led the New York Giants to two Super Bowl victories. He hasn't ruled out coaching again, which means that this decision may have been forced. After a train wreck season, Jim Tomsula was fired as the San Francisco 49ers coach. The 49ers finished the season 5-11. Former Redskins and Broncos coach Mike Shanahan and former Phildelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly have shown interenst in the opening.

After a quiet Black Monday, the only other question mark will remain in Detroit. The Lions are in the process of hiring a new general manager. When the new GM is hired, the fate of Jim Caldwell will be made. Four coaches that were on the hot seat seem to have survived for another season.

Chuck Pagano and the Indianapolis Colts agreed to a four-year extension. The expectations were Super Bowl or bust after reaching the AFC Championship game last season. Those expectations were shattered when Andrew Luck sustained an abdomen and kidney injury. The Colts played a majority of the season with back up quarterbacks, Matt Hasselbeck, Charlie Whitehurst, and Josh Freeman.

Mike McCoy, Jeff Fisher, and Gus Bradley have all been retained by their clubs. Listen in and call the show with your thoughts on the NFL's Black Monday activity.
