In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec talk NFC Championship football. This is a rematch of week 1, when the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Green Bay Packers, 36-16. Many things have changed, since week 1. How much stock do you put in the outcome, of a week 1 score?
Aaron Rodgers mentioned, in his press conference, that his injury would probably not be any better than it was, last week, against the Dallas Cowboys. This calf injury has limited his mobility, but he still had enough pocket presence, to pass for 316 yards. He had enough mobility to escape the rush and find Richard Rodgers, for the go ahead touchdown. The Packers running game has improved over the course of the season, and the defense is doing a better job, of getting off the field on third down.
Seattle stumbled briefly out of the gate, after that week 1 win. However, they could have the best defensive unit, in the NFL. The defense has become stingy, and are not allowing teams to score, in the fourth quarter. Russell Wilson is not asked to become a hero. His role is to lead an effecient offense, that will rely on Marshawn Lynch.
What do the Packers have to do, in order to beat the Seahawks? Will the Rodgers injury affect the outcome? What do the Seahawks have to do, so that they can try to defend their Super Bowl Title? Listen in or call the show with your thoughts.
