Calling all ham radio operators

Among other things, we want to share the awesome family of ham radio operators. What a great way to communicate. We actually need to popularize the idea of using ham radio as a medium for the dissemination of information. Or maybe you think cell phones are the way to go. OK. Do this. Call one of your friends on your cell phone and leave the phone on all day long. NO. Cost big bucks? No kidding. Ham radio costs a pittance compared to the minutes you would spend on a cell phone. And you only get to talk to one person. Ham radio is a conference call to potentially thousands of stations.
