Program #15 on topic, "Charismatic Captivation," -- the prevalent problem of authoritarian abuse in many churches, ministries, and networks. Based on a book by the same title, written by Real Truth Radio host, Christian counselor, author, and Bible Teacher, Dr. Steven Lambert.

Multitudes of unaware victims are caught in the web of religious captivation in Charismatic and Neo-Pentecostal churches.  Most are completely unaware that the oppressive and sometimes abusive domination and control to which they have been subjected by their spiritual leaders is a subtle “snare of the trapper,” because they have been indoctrinated by “doctrines of demons” to accept it as being proper, normal, and even beneficial.  Religious predomination is certainly nothing new, yet it has especially flourished in Charismatic and so-called “third and fourth wave” groups and churches as a result of the “Discipleship/Shepherding Movement” that transpired in the early- to mid-seventies.

The book, Charismatic Captivation, on which this series is based, is a Divine Demand to “Let My People Go!” directed to all church-leaders who are engaging in Scripturally-prohibited predomination and control over the Sheep of God's Flock.  It straightforwardly challenges the conventional, traditional, institutional status quo in the Neo-Pentecostal Church.  Charismatic Captivation is also a medium of advocacy on behalf of the untold multitudes of innocent sheep of God's Flock who, unknowingly, are being subjected to exploitative enslavement by self-aggrandizing and unscrupulous religious leaders for their own personal advancement and expansion of their private kingdoms.
