Perms, weaves, braids, wigs...African-American women spend millions of dollars on hair care. But are black women trying to live up to a European standard of beauty or is it another example of the diversity of African-American culture. Is it really healthy for black women to chemically straighten their hair? Should more choose natural hairstyles?
