HOMOSEXUALITY, CHICKEN, and THE BIBLE!!!

 

WHO KNEW…polls show when it comes to fast food, Republicans prefer Chick-fil-A and Democrats favor Popeyes and Church's Chicken!!  Interesting…can that bias have anything to do with Chick-fil-A’s current President and CEO Dan Cathy’s conservative stance??  Mr. Dan Cathy has recently taken a very public position on same-sex marriage. In response to a question pertaining to the franchise’s support of the traditional family, Mr. Cathy replied “guilty as charged.” He continued, “We are very much supportive of the family – the biblical definition of the family unit. I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think we can try to define what marriage is all about.”

 

Can Mr. Cathy force his beliefs/values onto his employees, his company? Do other organizations have his shared beliefs and values?  How does this affect their hiring practices; does Chick-fil-A covertly NOT hire gays due to Mr. Cathy’s belief of “family values”? Do gays at Chick-fil-A have to stay closeted for fear of termination or harassment? How does Mr. Cathy’s views affect us as a community, as a nation? THINK ABOUT IT! If they have those practices what’s done about it? Are there repercussions? What are your thoughts; .
