Author Monique Chanae is a Newark, New Jersey native, mother of two and a natural born storyteller. Beginning her first full length novel the summer of her 8th grade year. Her journey into the publishing industry started when she contributed the short story "Heiress" to the When it Rains it Pours anthology alongside authors Shan, YungLit and Dama Cargle in July 2012. Her debut novel "Lighter to My Cigarette" was released in September of the same year. Her next release was a novella entitled "Motives: Everybody's Got One" released in January 2013. Monique is currently working on several different novels, each belonging to an array of genres to entice readers of every kind.

JL King is a New York Times best selling author, publisher, and HIV/STD activist. Subjects of his work include the nature of human behavior, effects of health issues on minorities, and sexual orientation and its impact on schools. King’s first book, On the Down Low: A Journey Into the Lives of Straight Black Men Who Sleep with Men appeared on The New York Times best seller list for more than 30 consecutive weeks.In 2006 King produced, “The DL Exposed”, an award winning documentary that was broadcast on Black Entertainment Television (BET). The documentary was the number one watched program on BET that year.
