The Book of Revelations part 8

Greetings Friend and Family!

Today the focus is on the church of Sardis. This church was know for their reputation. They were tentatively weakened by sin and needed to be reminded of the importance of holding fast to that which remained alive within their souls. The author being a saltuation by saying, " I know you have a name, you live and are dead. Verse 2. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain that are ready to die; for I have not found your works perfect before God. Verse 3. Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on ou as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you." The goal of the letter  to this angel is "Purity" at the end of the letter he said, if you will over come It will be given unto you to walk with me in white. The challenge is to repent, turn from dead works, and revive the way they've been hearing, and the reward will be eternity in purity!.
