Yolanda M. Johnson-Bryant, also known as That Literary Lady, is a self-proclaimed geek. Even though she has always excelled in English—since childhood—Yolanda received her education in Information Technology from Denver Technical College, the University of Phoenix and Guilford Technical College. Yolanda has also been fascinated with the evolution and advances of technology and social media platforms. She always strives to be on the cutting edge of technology and social promotion.

Yolanda began writing at an early age. She wrote poetry as a child and wrote lyrics to songs performed by her high school girl band. Her desire to be a literary advocate came when her son, who is now grown, found himself struggling with his reading and schoolwork. Yolanda home schooled her children and began to create and circulate home school curriculum for children from pre-school to second grades. All the while, she continued to journal, write short stories and poetry. Yolanda wears many hats that include author, freelance writer, public speaker, radio host, consultant, superwoman and superpreneur.
