RCM Live: October 19, 2014 - Why Won't We Listen?

     God is always speaking. Most of us aren't always listening, which creates a breakdown in communication. As it was in the movie "Cool Hand Luke", when the two parties are not on the same page, bad things can happen. We take a look at Ezekiel 28:12 and Isaiah 14:10 to help us understand what happened to the king of Tyre(in Ezekiel), when he no longer wanted to communicate effectively with God.

    A lot of times, we don't listen to God, because of the circumstances that we see around us. However, faith comes by hearing(Romans 10:17), and faith is what is hoped for, and evidence not seen(Hebrews 11:1). We don't always see the blessings that are so close to us. Pastor B implores us to listen to God, and only then, we will find them.
