In a mainstream attempt to get everyone to feel guilty about privilege, they are consequently dividing the country; creating the illusion that our culture gap is too wide to traverse.  It is impossible to understand and empathize with every human's circumstances on this planet.  God only knows you to the extent that you wish to be known, so how can anyone be perfect in the understanding of their fellow brothers and sisters?  They want you to look at the imperfections of your history and the undeserving gifts you have received and feel guilty about them.  In doing so you create your own silent form of slavery.  The opposite of what everyone desires from this life, freedom. The only privilege you need to focus on is the gift God gave all of us whether you believe in Him or not, we all recieved the RIGHT, the privilege to have freedom.  And like any privilege we can lose it if we do not understand that number one it is a choice.  It can die if we don't take care of it.  It can die if we do not share it.  It can die if we do not protect it.  Freedom does not exist simply because we exist, only the hope remains as long as we continue to hope and live.  People are bastions of freedom, especially in America and Texas.  We would not have survived the Civil War if we did not have this common understanding of freedom within us.  When the mainstream told America they had two sides and that there was no common ground, they were wrong.  Americans found common ground in their desire to be free and their willingness to sacrifice all for it.  We realized we had sacrificed more than we wanted only to find out we were mostly on the same page to begin with.  We are a culture of freedom fighters regardless of skin color of religious belief or where we came from.  Let's get back to basics and get back on the same page, if not with God and Country, at least each other.
