Buying Our First Car In Africa

How do you buy a car when you are new in the country and don't understand the laws--or, the pitfalls--of making such a large purchase?

Greg and Margaret Fisher were career missionaries to Africa for (now) 22 years.  They had a lot of interesting lessons to learn about life in another culture.  Buying a car is difficult enough in America, but, buying a car in 1990's Ghana was a daunting challenge at best.
