The Sacred Duty of Being A Father

This week we celebrate Father's Day.  It has a special meaning for me (Greg) because I did know one of the founders of the American Father's Day celebration.  A dear lady in Spokane, Washington whose desire was to honor her father--and, father's like him. 

Our society has lost sight of the sacredness of being a father. According to the USA Census Bureau, in 2009 21.8 million children--about 26% of all children--were being raised in a single partent home.  84% of those single parents are mothers.
