Nineteen years ago, Bobbe found herself pregnant and feeling very much alone. Coming from a staunchly Catholic family, she was terrified to tell anyone, for fear her parents may collapse and die at the prospect of having an unwed pregnant daughter; or even worse, an unwed, pregnant daughter who wasn't even seeing the father of the child any more. This was a disaster in her heart and mind. She'd rather have died than shame her family. Very early on, she made the decision to tell no one. Bobbe was actually afraid of the Rosary, fearing it would glow in the dark or come out at night and fly around the room. Each time she would pass that particular drawer, Bobbe would silently apologize to Mary for being afrai
