Research on Entheogens and Perception

On our upcoming program we are looking at how entheogens sometimes described as 'psychedelics' or 'hallucinogens' actually work within our brains and how this effects our consciousness. What parts of the brain function do these substances interact with? What is the outcome of these interactions?

We are continuing our examination of the work of Stuart Hameroff, Thomas Ray and others as they present the connection between consciousness, entheogens and neuronal structure and function.
