"Milton and Shelby have been dating for six months, and all along Milton has worked double shifts, 3-4 times a week as an X-ray technician saving up to pay his nursing classes.

On Valentines Day, milton forgot to get a gift for Shelby because he was working, which also happens to be his birthday.  Shelby was so pissed that she ignored Milton's phone calls fo the next several days.  Did she overract?  If I am not mistaken, don't you think Milton's birthday should have superceded Valentines' Day?
