Episode 168 | May 31, 2019: .500, Dead Or Alive!

With six wins in the first seven games of a 10-game homestand, your, my, and our Colorado Rockies are back over the .500 mark for the first time since they were 2-1 starting the season in Miami. And the way they've gotten there? It's not...entirely clear. The offense has been good! The pitching has been not so good! But sometimes the pitching has been good and the offense has been not so good! Whatever they're doing, it's working. Since starting 3-12 this season, the Rockies are 25-15, one of the best winning percentages in baseball over that span.

There are a lot of good things to take away from the last several days of Rockies baseball, and we'll discuss them in such segments as our annual "Is Ian Desmond Finally Fixed?" segment along with "Ryan McMahon: Dreamy and Good" and "Tony Wolters, Mirage or Monster?"

The Toronto Blue Jays and thiccccc Vladimir Guerrero Jr. arrive at Coors Field tonight. We'll talk about how Tulo was once a member of that team and apparently came back to Denver for an interleague series with the Blue Jays in 2016 that we completely forgot about.
