Join us on Wild and Wooly Wednesdays for Special Guest DR.Pierre Milot " I was a policeman, a business man and a body-psycho therapist, all the while alternating careers in the arts and literature: music, painting and writing. I have published four books in french and numerous articles on grief/bereavement and health related matters. I have also hosted a series of television broadcasts on parapsychology and alternative medecine. I was furthermore a frequent guest on radio talk shows and have lectured in various health centers, colleges and universities. I have learned to cope with the worse kinds of griefs possible: the traumatic accidental loss of my teenage son and anticipatory grief through the death of my wife (38 years of loving companionship) after a 4 year battle against cancer. I also lost my two parents in between. I volunteer as a grief facilitator for the Beareaved Families of Ontario (BFO). I also volunteer as an End-of-Life facilitator for Carefor Health & Community Services - Hospice Cornwall (Ontario, Canada) and operate a free online grief support group on the LinkedIn network: ''Share your pain: grieving successfully''. I am also the first and only certified ''Guided Afterlife Connections'' Facilitator in Canada. GAD is a new cutting edge therapy that holds great promises to help accelerate the grieving process of people who have experienced the devastating loss of a loved one. As the saying goes: intellectual knowledge without life experience is just chit-chat!"
