Is Love The Higher Law?

Spirit, God, Creator, Changing Woman, Goddess, Higher Power, White Buffalo Calf Woman, Allah, Wakan Tanka, Baiame, Quan Yin, Tengri; these are just a tiny fraction of the thousands of different names for spiritual and/or religious beings we humans respect and revere. While different spiritual duties may be assigned to different beings, perhaps the most common understanding that ties almost every tradition together (of course there are exceptions) is that ultimately, the universe is powered and ruled by Love. So it's understandable then, how frequently our spiritual and religious teachings remind and admonish us to love each other, and to love all of creation, as if these things external to our being were in fact ourselves. Pretty radical concept! And yet, quite simple: Love rules all, love conquers all, love is all there is.Your cohosts at the Psychic Funhouse have decided to start at the beginning by asking: how do we love ourselves?
