The Mountain Between us, The Jungle Book

Both the original animation and remake were based on the collected work of Rudyard Kipling.

The stories center around the man-cub Mowgli and the animals teach moral lessons to the young boy.

The stories were first published in 1893!

Kipling was english, however lived in India for several years as a child.

Historians suggest that he began writing the stories for his young daughter who died at age six from illness.

“The Jungle Book” has been adapted into film and TV many times over the years.
