Season Premiere of HBO's Boxing After Dark on Jan. 23: Luevano vs Lopez, Gamboa vs Mtagwa Yuriorkis Gamboa HBO BOXING AFTER DARK® kicks off 2010 with an explosive featherweight doubleheader from the Big Apple when STEVEN LUEVANO VS. JUAN MANUEL LOPEZ AND YURIORKIS GAMBOA VS. ROGERS MTAGWA is presented SATURDAY, JAN. 23 (9:45 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT) from the WaMu Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City, exclusively on HBO. Beyonce and Madonna added to 'Hope For Haiti' benefit shows Coldplay and Jay-Z also set to feature Organised by George Clooney, the concerts will see Madonna play at the New York show, whilst Beyonce will perform in London. Raising money to help those who have been affected by the recent earthquakes in Haiti, the telethon aspect of the show is asking people to donate to Oxfam America, Partners in Health, Red Cross, UNICEF and Yele Haiti Foundation. Broadcast on the MTV networks in North America on January 22 at 8pm (ET/PT), those in the UK can see the event on MTV UK at 1am (GMT) on January 23. As well as donations, the music performances from the shows will be made available to purchase from iTunes, with the proceeds going to help the cause. As previously reported Coldplay, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Mary J Blige and Shakira have already been confirmed for the fundraising concerts. "The agony and anguish for the people that we are seeing on our television screens is something that British people want to respond to Chris Martin added: "I visited Haiti with Oxfam a few years ago. It's a country of extreme poverty and brutal living conditions. Most people in Port-au-Prince live in tin shacks. "The earthquake that has struck Haiti will have turned the city into an unimaginable hell." An estimated 1.5 million people were left homeless by the 7.0-magnitude quake, which is believed to killed as many as 200,000. At least 75,000 bodies have so far been buried in mass graves, the government has said.
